ORAL AND POSTER SESSION

Poster dimension: A0 vertical.

The time allocated for oral presentations is 20 minutes: 15 minutes for the actual talk plus 5 minutes at the end for questions.


Educators: educational departments, students (undergraduates, masters, doctorates), NGOs, companies
Students: universities, students (undergraduates, masters, doctorates), others


TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS (FOR BOTH EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS)



A. EDUCATIONAL AND DISSEMINATION PROGRAMS
1. Educational and teaching programmes related to LandCare
Educational and teaching programmes focused on the recovery of degraded environments at different levels (primary and secondary education, universities, vocational studies, doctorates, others)

2. LandCare dissemination & awareness projects 
Programess for disseminating, popularizing and communicating different topics related to care of the environment


B. TRAINING APPROACHES
3. Study of real cases and hands-on experiences on education and training in LandCare
Especially involving collaboration between different stakeholders (i.e. Universities,  companies, NGOs) at the international level (e.g. internships, blended learning).

4. Employability and entrepreneurship in LandCare
Good practices to improve employability and entrepreneurship skills in the field of LandCare. If we are to meet current economic and societal challenges, enhancing youth employability is of top priority.

5. Community engagement and volunteering in LandCare
New strategies to foster Community engagement, such as volunteering (collaborative relationships between education centres and their broader communities for mutual benefits) and In-service learning (a method of teaching and learning that integrates student participation in organized service activities into credit-bearing courses) and community decision-making.


C. INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING RESOURCES
6. Learning materials and technologies applicable to LandCare
Learning materials and technologies (virtual learning tools, MOOCs, handbooks, videos) require regular updating, which can only be done through expert collaboration.
